Happy New Year’s Eve!!
We are almost to my number 1 post of 2017! Today’s post probably wins the award for the most time consuming though! It took me weeks to get this one together so I’m glad people seem to like it 🙂

Tips for traveling with kids- a list of ideas you haven’t seen anywhere else! simple ideas to make long trips a little cheaper and happier.
I can’t afford to be a full-time teacher. That sounds crazy, I know, but here’s why I can’t afford to work full-time (or even part-time!)
This afternoon I had the rare opportunity to live out the question “If you had 5 minutes to evacuate your home, what would you take?”.
I love being a stay-at-home mom. Quitting my full-time teaching job a little over 2 years ago has been the best decision for my family. My 2 older kids will both be in school this year, so why am I putting my youngest in day-care 2 days a week???
My number 2 post of 2017:
